摘要: The authors propose a new multirate teletraffic loss model of single link with certain capacity that accommodates different service-classes whose calls come from finite traffic sources. Calls compete for the available bandwidth under combination threshold (TH) and reservation (BR) policies. TH policy can provide quality service among by limiting each service-class up to number, which is predefined TH, be service-class. BR reserves part benefit high requirements. They show proposed model, without policy, has product form solution (PFS) prove recursive formulas efficient calculation call-level performance metrics, such as time call congestion probabilities well utilisation. policies destroys PFS model. However, they approximate but still exist metrics. accuracy verified through simulation found very satisfactory.
