摘要: PURPOSEThis analysis was performed to determine the most appropriate volume that should be encompassed by thoracic radiation treatments (TRTs) for patients with limited-stage small-cell lung cancer (LSSCLC) who have responded initial chemotherapy.PATIENTS AND METHODSA retrospective review of all (N = 67) LSSCLC were not entered onto a research protocol and treated at our institution between years 1982 1990 performed. Fifty-nine 67 had adequate information regarding size tumor before start chemotherapy (computed tomographic [CT] scan chest or x-ray), TRT, TRT field based on simulation radiography.
