摘要: Aims:  This study aimed at determining whether oral administration of a probiotic strain, Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota (LcS), can improve insulin resistance, which is the underlying cause obesity-associated metabolic abnormalities, in diet-induced obesity (DIO) mice. Methods and Results:  DIO mice were fed high-fat diet without or with 0·05% LcS for 4 weeks then subjected to an tolerance test (ITT) glucose (OGTT). Oral not only accelerated reduction plasma levels during ITT, but also reduced elevation OGTT. In addition, lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP), marker endotoxaemia, augmented murine models obese DIO, ob/ob, db/db KK-Ay compared those lean mice. treatment suppressed LBP mice, did affect intra-abdominal fat weight. Conclusions:  improves resistance intolerance The fat, may contribute beneficial effects LcS. Significance Impact Study:  suggests that has potential prevent abnormalities by improving resistance.
