摘要: The sedimentation and diffusion behaviour of polyelectrolytes is discussed. properties polyelectrolyte solutions are profoundly influenced by intramolecular intermolecular charge interactions. In the presence a simple salt, range these interactions reduced, but additional effects arise. For example, Donnan effect needs to be taken into account in quantitative analysis data. parameter, F, may estimated from concentration dependence velocity. absence coefficients rather low coefficients, at moderate polymer concentrations, high; this has been attributed coupled motion polyions counterions. Results pres- ented synthetic boundary experiment on sodium poly(styrene sulpho- nate) salt-free solution which show that coefficient depends markedly below 0.2 g dm- a. This process appears equivalent fast observed dynamic light scattering. Current theories coupled-ion inadequate; structure need considered.
