摘要: The skeletal muscle dihydropyridine receptor/Ca2+ channel is composed of five protein components (alpha 1, alpha 2 delta, beta, and gamma). Only two such components, 1 2, have been identified in heart. present study reports the cloning expression a novel beta gene that expressed heart, lung, brain. Coexpression this with cardiac Xenopus oocytes causes following changes Ca2+ activity: it increases peak currents, accelerates activation kinetics, shifts current-voltage relationship toward more hyperpolarized potentials. It also binding to COS cells. These results indicate L-type has similar subunit structure as muscle, provides evidence for modulatory role subunit.
