摘要: Abstract The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility, χ (3) xxxx , of solutions Co(III) and Ni(II) complexes o -aminobenzenethiol, -NH 2 C 6 H 4 SH, were measured by degenerate four-wave mixing at 0.164 μm. In solution, the deprotonation Ni( S) was found to occur in presence air accelerated mild warming, yielding -NHC . This complex has a large 〈λ 〉 = × 10 −31 esu with an estimated on order −9 esu. A low-energy dd transition been 1.1 μm for nickel may be responsible its enhanced nonlinearity.
