摘要: Lymphatic vessels participate in tissue homeostasis and immune surveillance by draining excess fluid cells from tissues to blood circulation. Impaired lymphatic function can lead swelling, or lymphoedema, associated complications, such as chronic inflammation fat accumulation. The critical role of a number pathological conditions, including tumour metastasis, has led an interest identifying signalling pathways regulating vessel development growth. Here, we review the current knowledge on molecular mechanisms how vasculature contributes diseases.
