摘要: Scand J Caring Sci; 2010; 24; 463–471 Iranian diabetic adolescent girls’ quality of life: perspectives on barriers Introduction:  Diabetes with permanent changes in a person’s life-style has negative effects life (QoL) too. may afflict men and women equally, but the suffering associated disease when it appears an girl will have disastrous her life. If we want to improve QoL for girls disease, then being familiar barrier factors good is important. Aim:  To explore perspective barriers having QoL. Methods:  A qualitative design using content analysis was applied order seek purpose. Semistructured interviews were conducted 20 Type 1 diabetes. The participants recruited by purposeful sampling ‘West Azerbaijan Association’ members as well some patients Uremia city hospitals. Findings:  Qualitative demonstrated two original category from effective QoL: (1) external world (problems family, social about diabetes problems school), (2) Individual (negative feeling toward treatment care, uncertainty future). Also shown that, cultural believes, such more controls limitations various aspects behaviour compared boys sometimes had QoL. Conclusion:  As most paediatric teams are multidisciplinary, sharing information regarding part ongoing clinical care crucial should help tailor needs
