摘要: This chapter aims to review the relevance of ontogenic data in an evolutionary perspective. Phylogenetic investigation through developmental information is one most promising avenues elucidation our natural history. First, problematic integration biological subdisciplines into evo-devo synthesis considered: homeobox as Pandora’s box discussed and important role a comparative morphology program emphasized. Second, study development reveals essential aspects primate supraordinal relationships does not support archontan reality. A special note defines traditional superorder Archonta (1) artifact Scala naturae concept, since archontans were supreme public servants Greek ancient world. On other hand, it (2) vehicle explain existence flying mammals (Chiroptera) via gliding intermediate stage (Dermoptera). Third, P.R.
