摘要: Much interest has been generated in the fabrication of colloidal crystals from suspensions because promise photonic band gap applications. However, since case small, nonsedimenting particles indeed remains rather rarely treated, spherical silica with diameters varying 75 down to 20 nm have used present work fabricate by drying suspending liquid. Typical events that take place during process a particulate film, such as cracking, compaction and penetration air into porous network, evaluated using existing theories, maximum stress film could be approximated. Investigation on dry structure scanning electron microscopy showed arrangement close-packed system. To interpret formation crystals, amplitudes interparticle capillary forces estimated models. The repulsive allow remain stable thus rearrange up fairly high particle concentration. These modeling results dominance contribution at end process. Nitrogen adsorption/desorption measurements gave very coherent regarding both pore volume size films when compared expected ordered packing arrangements.
