摘要: Objective To determine whether increases in adolescent or parental self-efficacy predicted subsequent weight gain two different therapies for anorexia nervosa (AN). Method Participants were 121 adolescents with AN (M = 14.4 years, SD = 1.6), from a two-site randomized clinical trial family-based treatment (FBT) and individual focused therapy (AFT). Both assessed at baseline sessions 2, 4, 6, 8. Adolescent was using generic measure of self-efficacy, while specific to the recovery an eating disorder. Weight baseline, 1 through 8, end treatment. Mixed-effects models used evaluate relation between patient parent gain, controlling previous time point. Results For families who received FBT, greater within-treatment compared those FBT lesser change AFT. Interestingly, did not significantly predict gain. Discussion Greater but same true Neither overall level nor either group. These findings emphasize importance increasing order impact outcomes. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
