摘要: Abstract Introduction Omentin and vaspin are adipokines manifesting a potentially protective action against obesity-associated metabolic disturbances. Aim Evaluation of relationship between serum concentrations omentin on one hand indices insulin resistance anthropometric parameters in obese individuals the other. Material methods The studies were conducted 64 individuals. investigated group (37 patients) included subgroup with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) abnormal (AGT). control (n = 27) healthy body weight. In all participants analyses biochemical tests, including estimation performed, by HOMA-IR was evaluated. Results Concentrations examined manifested no significant differences groups. Median values index defining ratio studied adipokine degree resistance, i.e. omentin/HOMA-IR, proved to be different while such difference could noted cases vaspin/HOMA-IR indices. population negative detected concentration systolic blood pressure (p  Conclusion context date correlation, multiple regression area under receiver operating characteristics curve omentin, as compared vaspin, seems provide better predictor
