摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the generation and characterization of killer cells. Many immunocytes have capacity to kill other cells or each other. The lymphocyte type fall into two main categories distinguished by their major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restriction lack ability be primed sensitizing antigen generate immunological memory. MHC-restricted effectors are exclusively T lymphocytes commonly known as “cytotoxic (CTLs).” Several surface markers useful in distinguishing NK from cell types, although many shared with Natural (NK) also express members β 2 -integrin family myelomonocytic relatively small amount within blood has made it difficult obtain these pure form large enough numbers perform functional tests. Cytotoxic can purified sorting, immunomagnetic purification, complement-dependent depletion types. preparation human natural separation is elaborated chapter.
