摘要: AIM Recto-Urinary Fistula (RUF) is a rare complication of pelvic surgery. Different approaches are reported in literature but gold standard treatment has not yet been achieved. Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEM) miniinvasive approach with well known advantages as magnification, 3D view and lighting the operative field. Aim present review to report current evidence about technique results RUF by TEM suggest some key points for its correct management. MATERIALS OF STUDY After medline Pubmed Scopus databases, seven papers were eligible study. Data reviewed on basis cases reported, patient's characteristics, surgical techniques results. RESULTS Eighteen have from 1996 2005. The healing success rate was 77.8%. Fecal urinary diversion performed before TEM-assisted procedure 83% 94% cases, respectively. Recurrence observed four patients (22%). DISCUSSION A should ensure complete removal scar tissue around fistula, order perform tension free suture healthy margins adequate vascularization. Preoperative stoma improves reducing local inflammation infections. CONCLUSIONS There common this topic clarify which could be best condition due high failure proposed techniques.
