摘要: Education-based knowledge gaps are well-documented across countries, media platforms, and content. Without exception, is measured through words not images. Given the centrality of sight in natural history Homo sapiens, extraordinary visual acuity humans, proliferation screen-based environments contemporary life, an experiment was conducted to test gap visually. Participants watched 8 audiovisual news stories. Simple recognition story details comprehension that information were tested verbal modalities. Results offered first confirmation terms. Yet, significantly smaller employing than measures, pointing need for continued efforts develop measures future memory studies.
