摘要: Abstract In the present study, drop cast films of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyethylene glycol (PEG) and optimized PVA:PEG (50:50) polyblend were studied. The pure polymer polyblends samples characterised by using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) Optical Absorption Spectroscopic Techniques. Changes in morphology has been observed SEM photographs. FTIR results have to form H-bond between PVA PEG which confirms plasticizing effect on PVA. absorption maxima is at 325 nm 300 nm for samples, while it found shift 320 nm polyblends. peak related edge may attribute change polymeric chain mobility as well crystallization behaviour during blending process. value indirect optical gap be 1.75 eV, very less compared components. An increase B−1 indicating an enhancement disorder with formation These are important realizing their applications
