摘要: The quality of cultivated land has been seriously degraded due to the overuse chemical fertilizer in China. Land conservation technologies (LCTs) have proven effectively address degradation and improve productivity. In this study, a multivariate probit model is applied empirically analyze correlation effects determinants application LCTs using cross-sectional data collected on 690 large-scale grain producers from Jiangsu Jiangxi provinces middle lower reaches Yangtze River. sample farmers were individually investigated by face-to-face questionnaires field that included around 400 questions. results revealed there are significant complementary relationships among farm manure application, commercial organic use, green plantation, between formula fertilization straw returning. Regarding determinants, highly educated with large size high incomes more likely adopt LCTs. variable shows an inverted U-shaped relationship fertilization, inflection point at 153 mu (10.20 ha), while showing commodity use plantation technologies, turning points 207 (13.80 ha) 124 (8.27 respectively. also indicate extension services agricultural technicians, technical information, policy knowledge variables positive LCTs, subsidy does not appear expected effect. To promote suggestions include improving system, selecting targeted for training, expanding environmental advocacy increase farmers’ about degradation, adjusting subsidies.
