Shell Model description of the ββ decay of 136Xe

摘要: Abstract We study in this Letter the double beta decay of 136Xe with emission two neutrinos which has been recently measured by EXO-200 Collaboration. use same shell model framework, valence space, and effective interaction that we have already employed our calculation nuclear matrix element (NME) its neutrinoless decay. Using quenching factor Gamow–Teller operator is needed to reproduce very recent high resolution (3He, t) 136Cs data, obtain a M 2 ν = 0.025 MeV − 1 compared experimental value 0.019 ( ) .
