摘要: If global governance is consequential, its legitimacy ought to rest on principles of democracy. However, unilateral action such as that taken by the USA in Iraq and elsewhere has hurt most visible project, cosmopolitan democracy, undermining liberal multi lateralist foundations. Other democratic projects have not been quite so badly damaged, particular, idea a transnational discursive democracy grounded engagement discourses international public spheres. The discourse aspects affairs are important when it comes issues war peace, conflict security, no less here than elsewhere. Democracy faces competition informal realm from both "war ideas" "soft power" projections, but can hold up well against them, more easily pass test reflexivity. Discursive help constitute effective responses insecurity.
