摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality and responsible for more deaths than breast cancer, prostate colon combined. The majority patients diagnosed with lung are over age 65. Despite prevalence in older adults, they have been notoriously underrepresented clinical trials designed to help guide clinicians management treatment. In past 15 years, there many improvements that collectively extended lives metastatic an average one year after diagnosis. It now well-established does not diminish benefit However, certain toxicities common may be less tolerated this group. therefore paramount importance work together tease out which will most from treatment minimize toxicity.
