摘要: Introduction: The diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis in children is a challenge all programs. adverse social and economic conditions the Colombian Pacific Coast make it complex area for management disease, especially children. Objective: To describe demographic clinical characteristics, outcomes pediatric population with Buenaventura, Colombia. Methods: We conducted descriptive observational study historical cohort (2009-2013) enrolled control program Buenaventura. Results: A total 163 cases were found analyzed. There was no significant difference sex distribution. most frequent age group 1-5 years (51%) 55% belonged to subsidized health system. TB prevailed (55%), while laboratory patients older than 7 years. 92% entered as new cases, 40% had their treatment finished at discharge.
