摘要: Original observations and a review of the literature revealed many adaptations evolved in seed beetles (Bruchidae) to circumvent defenses leguminous plants against seed—feeding insects. Analysis was based on 38 bruchid species 44 host plant. In response toxicity either avoid toxins or develop resistance them. If plant produces greater number seeds beetle is apt feed several during its life. Other such as rapid dehiscence pod, special characteristics husk, synchronization set, are also circumvented by Bruchidae. This pattern coevolution probably rarely allows entirely exclude predators.
