摘要: Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea L., common foxglove, D. lanata Ehrh., Grecian and other related species) is one of the most commonly used medicinal plants in world (Trease Evans 1983). The dried leaves are as a crude drug contain number cardioactive glycosides, e.g., digitoxin, gitoxin, etc. A large reports have been published on tissue culture, regeneration, production, biotransformation cardenolides Digitalis species (for review see Rucker 1988). However, only paper has appeared genetic transformation (Saito et al. 1990a). efficient transfer strong expression foreign genes foxglove offer promising possibility manipulation secondary metabolism this plant.
