摘要: Abstract Green emitting cubic Y 2 O 3 :Tb 3+ nanocrystalline phosphor having particle size of 22 nm was synthesized by TEA (triethanolamine) based precursor solution method. We have characterized our sample XRD, HRTEM and Raman spectroscopic measurement. compared the photoluminescence properties with bulk one. Due to presence defect states lower phonon density nanomaterials, cross relaxation process seems be less effective in nanosized reflecting higher blue/green ratio sample. Relative intensity 5 D 4 – 7 F transition respect 6 is reduced due greater probability latter distorted nanostructured material. Our analysis suggests that change local environments takes place decreasing it reflected spectra.
