摘要: Between 1960 and 1980, 71 cases of adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) were reviewed according to treatment modality clinical course. Histologic review pathologic slides was performed classify the tumors into their predominant histologic pattern (tubular, cribriform, solid). The patterns equally divided between tubular cribriform. Very few classified as a solid pattern. In patients receiving same type therapy (surgery irradiation), cribriform variants ACC demonstrated no difference in rate distant metastases overall survival. variant significantly worse prognosis terms local recurrence rate. who had appeared have an long-term survival with may be related development despite control.
