摘要: This study examines the effect of anger and vital exhaustion on recurrent events after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Data came from 149 patients (123 men 26 women) who underwent successful PTCA. During 18 months follow-up, there were 37 (25%) for which was objective evidence new or progression disease. The 123 male with high significantly more likely to have multivessel disease before PTCA (odds ratio 2.42; p = 0.04), controlling standard heart risk factors. High-anger also had a threefold increased (RR 2.94; 0.01), remained marginally significant accounting other factors residual stenosis 2.33; 0.09). Among female patients, these relations much weaker not statistically significant. additional adjustment did change associated anger. A composite index psychosocial based related (p 0.02) These findings add growing body research role clinical course in artery
