摘要: Aseismic base isolation is increasingly being utilized to protect structures and their contents against earthquakes. The R-FBI (Resilient-Friction Base Isolator) bearings provide a new system. equations of motions elastic plane supported on procedure for solutions are presented. responses five-storey 1/3-scaled frame model both horizontal components vertical six different ground motion records fixed isolated evaluated. To estimate the prototype response, time scaled by effects initial displacement non-symmetric friction caused small differential settlements also considered. It concluded that reduces acceleration response considerably without inducing large displacements or leaving residual displacements.
