摘要: We present a stacking analysis of 2.61 Msec archival Chandra observations stellar wind bow shocks. place an upper limit on the X-ray luminosity IR-detected shocks $<2\times10^{29}$ erg s$^{-1}$, more stringent constraint than has been found in previous studies and dedicated observing campaigns nearby compare luminosities $L_X/L_{\rm bol}$ ratios shock driving stars to those other OB within field view. Driving are, average, later spectral type "field view" stars, we do not observe any unambiguously high indicative magnetic our sample. additionally asses feasibility detecting X-rays from with proposed Lynx Observatory. If flux originating is just below detection limit, nearest sample (at $\sim$0.4 kpc absorbing column $\sim10^{21}$ cm$^{-2}$) should be observable exposure times order $\sim$100 kiloseconds.
