摘要: Thin films of the soluble polydiacetylene derivative P-4-BCMU were prepared from chloroform solution. Duriong evaporation solvent solution becomes anisotropic before solid state is reached. The morphology these lamellar, lamellae being seen edge-on. Lamella thickness proportional to chain length worm-like polymers. Formation a function dwell time polymer in liquid crystalline state. In early stages lamella determined by average number molecular weight. Chain ends are concentrated disordered interlamellar regions. Approaching equilibrium segregation with respect lengths observed. addition, effect electron irradiation damage investigated.
