摘要: Abstract Marked Potamogeton leaves of known age were examined by scanning electron microscopy. Leaves showed a distinct succession microflora. Prosthecate bacteria developed after 6 weeks leaf growth and associated with cuticular erosion epidermal pitting. Senescent (14 old) extensive peeling cell wall rupture, it is suggested that the pitting noted at precursor such damage. This could well prepare for rapid leaching to take place immediately death.
