摘要: Naturally occurring riparian filter strips are widely recommended as a technique for removing chemicals from flow prior to entering stream. Data on their effectiveness is sparse information the partitioning of chemicals trapped by various mechanisms in these strips. Studies were conducted natural grass buffer sediment, atrazine, nitrogen and phosphorus from surface runoff. The located a karst watershed. No-till conventional-tillage erosion plots served sediment chemical source area. Runoff from was directed onto 4.57, 9.14, 13.72 m where inflow outflow concentrations flow rates measured. Trapping percentages typically ranged above 90%. An evaluation was made distribution trapped among infiltrated mass stored layer. analysis showed that most infiltration into soil matrix trapping efficiency increased with stip length with fraction water infiltrated.
