摘要: This paper presents the first real-time physical-layer network coding (PNC) prototype for two-way relay wireless channel (TWRC). Theoretically, PNC could boost throughput of TWRC by a factor 2 compared with traditional scheduling (TS) in high signal-to-noise (SNR) regime. Although there have been many theoretical studies on performance, few experimental and implementation efforts. We built about year ago. It was, however, an offline system which decoder was used at relay. For system, are additional challenges, including needs tighter coordination transmissions two end nodes, fast decoding relay, PNC-compatible retransmission scheme (i.e., ARQ protocol) to ensure reliability packet delivery. In this paper, we describe prototype, referred as RPNC, that provides practical solutions these challenges. Indoor environment results show RPNC boosts TS, predicted theoretically. interface application layer, demonstrate exchange image data files between nodes.
