摘要: Background: The use of online surveys for data collection has increased exponentially, yet it is often unclear whether interview-based cognitive assessments (such as face-to-face or telephonic word recall tasks) can be adapted in application-based research settings. Objective: objective the current study was to compare and characterize results tasks those Health Retirement Study (HRS) determine feasibility reliability incorporating into assessments. Methods: immediate delayed assessment, included within Women’s Valuation (WHV) study, were compared Waves 5-11 (2000-2012) HRS. Results: Performance on WHV demonstrated strong concordance with performance HRS (ρc=.79, 95% CI 0.67-0.91), despite significant differences between populations ( P <.001) design. Sociodemographic characteristics self-reported memory similar relationships both tasks. Conclusions: key finding this that performed similarly when used an assessment WHV. Online administration tests, which potential significantly reduce participant administrative burden, should considered future studies health [JMIR Ment 2015;2(2):e20]
