摘要: Newly discovered determinate plant growth habit in Brassica juncea is simply inherited and can help in architectural restructuring of oilseeds. juncea naturally indeterminate. This tends to accentuate intra-plant competition for resources within the canopy, leading unfilled seeds, immature pods tip sterility. Recent identification plants with expected open up new avenues modifications crop Brassicas. Plants were identified progenies resynthesized B. as a de novo variation. F1 plants, developed from crosses mustard natural indeterminate genotypes indeterminate, indicating dominance indeterminacy. F2 F3 segregation revealed monogenic recessive inheritance studied. Gene determinacy (Sdt 1 ) was mapped linkage group 15 juncea. Sdt flanked by SSR markers SJ6842 Ni4-A10 at distances 15.9 cM 14.0 cM, respectively. Determinate showed significant variation height, flowering time productivity. There appeared be no adverse association terms lower pod density, productivity or oil content. Determinacy under control single gene, high agronomic performance identified.
