摘要: This paper reports on a national audit of responsible gambling measures in Australia, both mandated by Acts and Regulations encouraged voluntary industry programs codes practice. The covered all Australian jurisdictions the main sectors, including casinos, hotels, clubs, TABs lotteries, as well some keno online operations. Data was gathere d from around 80 government organisations representing sectors regulatory bodies states territories, secondary material where available. were analysed terms practices, stewardship processes, program implementation effectiveness. revealed substantial variation requirements conduct gambling, amongst different sectors. 30 examined showed similar variation. study concludes that stakeholders have typically acted independently 'knee-jerk' manner to increasing expressions community concern about problem gambling. It identifies numerous deficiencies current highlights need for further research test efficacy such measures.
