摘要: The paper discusses developments in Dutch monetary policy over the past five decades. It does not aim at providing a precise historical description, but rather focuses on main trends and developments. Discussing these now is only interesting from point of view, also because Netherlands about to become part European Economic Monetary Union (EMU). This will end sovereignty policy, mark beginning joint responsibility for aimed stable value Euro. Will this imply radical change way being conducted? To answer question, paper, which has been written perspective Nederlandsche Bank, three themes: philosophy strategy, modernisation set instruments, achievements during post-war period. concludes that participation EMU fits well with contribute smooth transition when Euro introduced January 1, 1999.
