The evolution of the packaging logistics research area

摘要: Logistics can be regarded as an established research area containing publications in renowned scientific journals and which covers several related fields. One of them, packaging logistics, is a relatively new area, at only few universities institutes. Consequently, the logistics characterised by scattered theoretical frameworks are scarce. Theory often delimited to packaging, focusing either on technological aspects e.g. features, or marketing aspects, branding. The holistic view overall business systems however, neither covered researchers, nor included journals. aim this paper describe evolution based model Reid (1997).
