摘要: We investigated the influence of light on phototactic behavior and reproduction in two species rotifer from Brachionus plicatilis complex (B. sensu stricto (s. s.) manjavacas). This was done to understand how effects these so that we might use this knowledge establish a more efficient aquaculture protocol. used four different wavelengths (white, with peaks at 460 570 nm; blue 470 nm; green 525 nm; red 660 nm) intensities (i.e., 0.5–30.0 W/m2). Using micro-spectrophotometry determined eyespots absorbed 5.5 times than light. B. s. showed positive phototaxis under white, blue, lower intensities, but no all (0.5, 6.2, 15.0, 30.0 W/m2). Similar patterns were observed manjavacas did not differ among mictic, amictic females, male rotifers. Population growth rate dark condition 1.1–1.2 higher white condition. No significant differences population 3.8 6.2 W/m2 wavelengths. On other hand, rates 0.5 1.6 W/m2 lowest According results, both wavelength intensity affect rotifers, which turn may be influenced by rotifers' wavelength-dependent phototaxis.
