摘要: The term shungite was introduced by Inostrantsev (1879) for ‘a new type of amorphous carbon’ from black shales the Huronian Formation in Trans-Onega area, Russia. Later this used layers, lenses and veinlets carbon-rich material associated with metamorphic complex early Proterozoic age Karelia, Russia (Kwiecinska, 1968; Khavari-Khorasani Murchison, 1979; Volkova Bogdanova, 1983; 1986). A number studies Karelian attempted to elucidate on organic matter source properties. However, origin processes responsible its maturation still remain uncertain. Although suggestions have been made that carbon may an abiogenic volcanic source, most support a biogenic source. Some regard predominantly as situ (Volkova 1986), while others claim it be migrated solid bitumen (Khavari-Khorasani Jehlicka Rouzaud, 1993).
