摘要: The purpose of this article is to analyse the impact residential electricity prices on energy intensity in Europe. research primarily based a panel analysis for European Union (EU-28) member states plus Norway over period 1990–2015, which fixed-effect estimator was applied. results suggest that price has one-third intensity, taking into account control variables. This implies level and structure should be considered as potential policy tool improving efficiency by reducing intensity. also Europe favourably affected restructuring industrial companies transitional economies, implementation national programmes improvement efficiency, introduction EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
