摘要: Recent measurements of the centrality and rapidity dependence single inclusive jet production in p+Pb collisions at Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have revealed large nontrivial nuclear modification cross section for this process. In paper, we explore to what extent such can be understood by framework standard cold matter effects, particular initial-state energy loss. We demonstrate quantitatively that theoretical calculations which include medium-induced radiative corrections describe rather reasonably attenuation yields transverse momentum region d+Au Relativistic Heavy Ion LHC central semicentral collisions. further show observed scaling behavior factor as a function total pTcosh(y) various intervals has natural explanation picture However, enhancement peripheral is not described could different origin.
