摘要: Introduction: Exstrophy-epispadias complex consists of a group rare congenital midline malformations. The variant we address, the classic bladder exstrophy, mainly mucosa exposure, epispadias and pubic diastasis. This condition presents high morbidity mortality rates. Several surgical techniques have been developed to overcome complications. Even so, these children endure great amount procedures, having impact on their quality life. review addresses most recent as well respective outcomes. Materials Methods: research was based PubMed search engine. Articles where selected according following criteria: published in last 10 years; written English, French, Spanish or Portuguese; full text availability. articles were then excluded by irrelevance title, abstract text. Results: A total 75 followed criteria previously mentioned. Discussion: At first diagnosis, patients undergo primary approach, be it staged complete repair, at least 3 6 procedures. Salvage procedures avoid complications, such dehiscence, stenosis, infection incontinence. These include clean intermittent catheterization, neck reconstruction, augmentation urinary diversions. Conclusion: specialized multidisciplinary approach must had so that greater outcomes occur. Although successful reported, deal complications still Surgeons’s hopes for future rely development fetal treatment tissue engineering.
