摘要: A repeated 4×4 Latin square design was conducted with eight ileal cannulated castrates to examine the effect of source starch and fiber on nutrient balance energy metabolism. Pigs were fed one four experimental diets: Control diet (C) mainly based cooked rice; diets P, S W inclusion either raw potato starch, sugar beet pulp or wheat bran supplementation, respectively. With exception an increased (p 0.05) in ratio metabolizable (ME)/digestible energy, utilization ME for fat deposition protein deposition, loss as hydrogen urinary found between diets. The efficiency maintenance lower by addition starch. In comparison C a lowered fecal digestibility observed 0.05). An (p<0.05) proportion NSP excreted feces seen supplementation bran. Higher intake caused daily amount ileum, but percentage unaffected Feeding resulted measured ileum intake, while no significant influence found. sources compared P. By increasing dietary content (p<0.01). (Asian-Aust. J. Anim. Sci. 2004. Vol 17, No. 2 : 263-270)
