摘要: Pressure drop and interfacial area have been measured for a modern high capacity random packing. flooding limit are found to be in good agreement with the manufacturer software. It is observed that area, ae, linked percentage can much higher than geometric area. However ae depends slightly on chemical system, this explained by gas limitation. The selected packing seems well adapted CO2 capture process, since pressure low high. Present results used successfully model CASTOR pilot plant post-combustion capture.
