摘要: In this paper we study the production of energetic dileptons. We calculate rate for $2\ensuremath{\rightarrow}2$ processes. The log term is obtained analytically and constant calculated numerically. When photon mass order thermal quark mass, result insensitive to soft logarithmic divergence regulated by exactly as in case real photons. also consider Drell-Yan dileptons (thermal antiquark pairs annihilating into virtual photons) systematically context hard loop effective theory. obtain analytic numerical results. compare our results with those previous calculations.
