摘要: The aim of this work was to evaluate the main nutrients and their antioxidant properties a Chinese wild edible fruit, Passiflora foetida, collected from ecoregion Hainan province, China. analytical results revealed that P. foetida fruits were rich in amino acids (1097 mg/100 g total), minerals (595.75 unsaturated fatty (74.18 g/100 total fat). lyophilized powder portion contained higher polyphenols content than inedible powder. UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE analysis extractable non-extractable phenolics indicated presence 65 compounds including 39 free phenolics, 14 insoluble-glycoside-phenolics, 22 insoluble-ester-phenolics. In addition, obtained by alkali hydrolysis showed significant activities by/through DPPH ABTS radical scavenging. These findings fruits, for first time, suggest these polyphenol-rich may have potential nutraceutical efficacies.
