摘要: The present report describes neurosteroid modulation of olfactory bulb function by examining the effects intrabulbar infusion dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), a neurohormone discovered in rat brain, on field potentials granule cell layer evoked paired-pulse stimulation mouse lateral tract. Infusion DHEAS (5 nmol) significantly decreased test response without affecting conditioning response. As consequence, selectively potentiated depression, which is believed to be due cell-mediated inhibition mitral/tufted cells. granule-to-mitral/tufted dendrodendritic synapse GABAergic. Taken together, these results suggest that potentiates GABAergic exerted cells
