摘要: To examine the influence of afferent input to suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) on development serotonergic fibers in SCN, from retina and lateral geniculate (LGN) were eliminated neonatal rats. Eight weeks after lesion, distribution pattern SCN was examined immunohistochemically. Neither bilateral enucleation nor LGN ablation altered fiber as compared normal adult rat. However, following combined lesions ablation, density decreased throughout SCN. The present results indicate that both retino-hypothalamic geniculo-hypothalamic may play an important role innervation vivo.
