摘要: Abstract Chitin is a biopolymer and it non-toxic, biodegradable biocompatible. has many potential industrial applications because of its abundance, biodegradability, non-toxicity, chemical inertness. β-Chitin scaffolds were prepared by using saturated calcium chloride alcoholic solution (CaCl 2 ·6H O/EtOH) then followed dialysis with lyophilization. The β-chitin characterized FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) thermogravimetric (TGA). preliminary bioactivity studies studied simulated body fluid (SBF) for 7, 14 21 days. We also immersed the in aqueous CaCl Na HPO 4 over 12 h. After days, SEM FT-IR studies. showed that there phosphate layer surface as well cross-section scaffolds. It seems are useful tissue-engineering field.
