摘要: Non-avian theropods are well represented in the Cretaceous of Asia. However, first theropod remains ever reported from China, Wangshi Group Shandong Province, have not been reassessed since they were described by Carl Wiman 1929, despite great strides that made phylogenetics last eight decades. The redescribed herein consist four vertebrae (two cervicals, one dorsal and caudal) site, a caudal vertebra ungual phalanx another. site assigned to tyrannosauroids ornithomimosaurs, as is second whereas manual also bears resemblances those non-maniraptoran coelurosaurs (specifically compsognathids ornithomimosaurs). Theropods remain relatively rare Group; nevertheless, highlight potential for discovery more future excavations.
